CONS:

*No privacy when rain fly is off
DETAILS:
This tent is fantastic! Not only does it look cool and different, but it's also very easy to set up. The entrance part provides a good shelter for shoes and lanterns. You do have to kind of crawl into it, but it's not bad.
We haven't experienced a complete wash-out in it, but we did have a steady rain for a few hours in the morning while camping on the Lake Superior shore in Minnesota. No leaking. It dried very quickly too. It held out nicely in a 45 mph wind situation. It was very gusty during one of our camping trips (steady 25 mph with higher gusts). This tent handled it with no difficulty.
All-in-all, my husband and I think it's perfect. It feels roomy for two. We easily fit a queen air mattress in it. It circulates air well with the vent open.
My only complaint is that there is NO privacy when the rain fly is off. The tent itself seems more like a mosquito screen than a traditional tent. We always put up the rain fly. If you're in a private site or don't care about people being able to see right through the tent, it would be a great on a hot, hot summer day. You wouldn't have any issues with ventilation... that's for sure.

I camped out for 4 nights in the Porcupine Mountains. Over that time, 3 storms rolled through and the tent was very solid and handled everything very well.
There were a couple small leaks from the rear ceiling vent - this could be because there is a vent or because of a defect in my tent, but I'm not exactly sure why.
Took only 10 minutes to put up and to take down. Great tent!
